Every missing assignment, from every class

No single school platform does this. Google Classroom shows missing work across your Classroom classes only, and Canvas makes you open Grades one course at a time. If your work is spread across Canvas, Classroom, Edgenuity and the rest, nothing built into those tools merges them.

This is the question students ask most often and the one nobody has answered properly. The best result on the search page today is a forum thread where somebody asks it and is told to check each class individually. Here is what each platform can actually do.

What each platform can do alone

They differ more than you would expect, and only one of them crosses its own classes.

  • Google Classroom: a real all-classes Missing list, in the To-do view
  • Canvas: per course only, on each course Grades page
  • Infinite Campus and PowerSchool: grades and assignment scores, per course
  • Edgenuity and IXL: progress against a pace, rather than a missing list

Why none of them cross over

Each platform only knows what is inside it. Your school may run four of them, and none has any view of the others, so the merged list a student actually needs is the one view nobody is positioned to build.

Doing it by hand

It works, and it is the part most people never finish. Open each platform, collect what is outstanding, write it in one list, then order it by what it costs you rather than by what is oldest.

  1. Open each platform your school uses, one at a time
  2. In Canvas open every course and read the Grades page for Missing labels
  3. In Google Classroom open To-do, set it to All classes, choose Missing
  4. Write everything into one list before you start any of it
  5. Order the list by weight and points at stake, not by due date

Doing it automatically

Is there one place to see all my missing work?

Not inside any school platform. Each one only knows its own courses, and Google Classroom is the only one with an all-classes missing view, which still covers Classroom alone. A tool connected to several platforms can merge them.

Why does Canvas not have this?

Canvas organises everything by course, and the missing status lives on an assignment inside a course. There is no student-facing screen that crosses courses, which is why the answer in the Canvas forums is to check each class.

Does the school see me checking?

No. Reading your own grades and assignments is ordinary use of your own account, and SchoolOps runs in your browser under that account.

Does it cost anything to see the list?

No. Grade tracking, the calendar and assignment browsing are free with an account. An access key is for drafting and the study tools.
